We're excited that you're a part of the Summit County Early Childhood Education Community and are thrilled to be learning with you about how to lift up the early childhood profession to ensure that all children are ready to learn.
Whether you're attending a workshop, participating in a Think Tank Session, or working with our Professional Development Coordinator in PDIS, you will be given useful information that will help you grow your career, assist you every day in the classroom and give you the means to ensure each of your students achieve success.
The training schedule for the 2023-2024 school year gives you opportunities to collaborate with professionals just like yourself and to get valuable tools for your classroom.
Pyramid Training Registration is now open for the spring of 2024. The content will be the newly revised Pyramid modules. The material is applicable for Infant/Toddler teachers as well as preschool teachers.
Edvantage Training Opportunities
Learn effective classroom management with our experienced trainers or gain more insight into topics related to Teaching Strategies GOLD, Expanding Quality for Infants and Toddlers, and/or Pyramid! Each of these opportunities will help implement effective teaching strategies in your classroom. You'll learn skills to enhance the learning of each child you serve.
Level Up Workshops
Take advantage of learning opportunities through our many workshops scheduled throughout the year. Choose from topics such as Introduction to the CLASS tools, ASQ Training, Crawling, Decoding Behaviors, Head Start Performance Standards, Instructional Support or the Reggio inspired Teachers as Research Partners Alongside Children! Enhance your equity skills and learn how to reach every student to ensure they achieve success everyday.
Think Tank Series
These opportunities are designed to give professionals time to dive deeply into topics and develop relationships with peers or topics around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
